LOCATION

Stable, well-drained area that will not flood
Room around the generator for the technician and maintenance personnel.
Keep in mind homeowners association and (zoning) restrictions when choosing a site.

INSTALLATION

Prepare the site with a concrete slab or pea gravel
Place generator on the concrete slab/ gravel

CONNECTION

Fuel line is connected
Transfer switch installed next to the main breaker box
The transfer switch senses where the power is coming from and when to switch over to generator power.

SIMULATION

Technician checks that everything works as it should
Set up weekly self-test to ensure everything continues to function as normal

WE MAKE THE PROCESS EASY

We come to your location and provide an estimate. If you accept the estimate, we ask for a small deposit to reserve your generator and we will secure permits from the town.

As part of the install process, we install decks, if in a flood zone, we also put in inoperable windows if needed, and do trenching. We do the entire process in house. Once the permits are approved, we come and connect the gas and electric.

Once that is complete, we come and set the generator and hook it up. After the gas has time to pressurize, we get the final approval from the town and come back to do the start-up.
